One Day Throwing Wednesdays 11.00 to 5.00 pm

In this course you can immerse yourself in the basics of throwing for a full day.

You will learn wedging, centering, pulling, and turning clay. 

Spend the whole day throwing at your own pace and make as many pots you like.

Choose your best 3 pieces that will be fired and glazed by the tutor within three weeks.

Timetable for the day:

11:00 -1:00 Short introduction to the wheel techniques and throwing

1:00- 2:00  Lunch Break (Broadway market is 8 mins away)

2:00- 4:30 Wheel throwing 

4:30 - 5:00 Finishing and cleaning 

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• Make as many pieces you want and choose your favourite one for the teacher to fire and glaze 
• Collect your piece from Claystation in around three weeks' time
• The class include all materials (clay and tools)
• Maximum class size - 5 people  

 WHAT TO BRING TO THE CLASS

• Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dusty and dirty
• Comfortable shoes 
• Your own apron if you want (we provide if not)
• Bring water
